We are growing and looking for an experienced dock & door technician ready to step into a lead role.
This is a hands-on working lead role—you’ll be out in the field doing the work, solving problems, and helping build the team as we grow.
You’ll be provided a company vehicle and start your day from home.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading day-to-day operations (scheduling, quality, standards)
- Working in the field: installing, maintaining, and repairing dock levelers, doors, restraints, seals, bumpers, and more
- Troubleshooting and handling more complex service calls
- Training and mentoring technicians as the team grows
- Working closely with dispatch, parts, and leadership to keep things running smoothly
- Building strong relationships with customers and representing MHS Lift on job sites
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of hands-on dock & door experience across multiple manufacturers
- Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical)
- Comfortable leading while still doing the work
- Proven ability to lead, train, or mentor others in a technical environment
- Solid communication skills with customers and team members
- Valid driver’s license clean driving record
Nice to Have
· Manufacturer certifications (Rite-Hite, Kelley, Serco, Poweramp, etc.)
· Prior lead or supervisory experience
- Experience across multiple dock & door systems and brands
