We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Demand & Replenishment Planner to support our growing e-commerce business across Walmart.com and Amazon. This role is responsible for managing demand planning, forecasting, inventory replenishment, and sales analytics to maximize in-stock performance, optimize inventory, and drive profitable growth across both platforms.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing marketplace inventory, analyzing digital sales performance, and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Product Development, Operations, and Logistics to ensure products are available to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
Essential Functions
- Lead demand planning and replenishment activities for Walmart.com and Amazon.
- Develop accurate demand forecasts using sales history, inventory trends, promotional calendars, seasonality, and marketplace analytics.
- Monitor inventory health, in-stock rates, weeks of supply, and replenishment performance to maximize product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Analyze sales performance, conversion trends, inventory levels, and customer demand to identify risks and growth opportunities.
- Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics teams to develop inventory and replenishment strategies that support business objectives.
- Monitor SKU performance and recommend inventory adjustments based on sales velocity, seasonality, and promotional activity.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business reports highlighting sales trends, inventory health, forecasting accuracy, and key performance indicators.
- Support Walmart.com and Amazon promotional events by developing inventory plans to meet expected demand.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve inventory shortages, forecasting issues, and operational challenges.
- Continuously improve forecasting models, reporting processes, and replenishment strategies to increase efficiency and customer service levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5–8 years of experience in demand planning, replenishment, inventory management, or supply chain, with direct experience supporting Walmart.com and/or Amazon.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce inventory management, forecasting, replenishment, and marketplace operations.
- Experience using Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Retail Link, Walmart Luminate, Walmart Supplier Center, or similar retail analytics platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, and large dataset analysis.
- Experience with ERP, forecasting, inventory planning, or demand planning systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present business insights and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
