We are seeking an experienced and motivated Community Director to oversee the daily operations of a multifamily apartment community in the Buffalo, NY market. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who excels in resident relations, team development, financial management, and property operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day community operations, ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction and retention.
- Manage leasing, occupancy, rent collections, and delinquency efforts.
- Oversee maintenance operations, work order completion, and property condition standards.
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee property enhancement and capital improvement projects.
- Supervise onsite staff, including performance management, coaching, and team development.
- Review and approve invoices, monitor budgets, and prepare monthly operational and financial reports.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to achieve occupancy, revenue, and expense management goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of apartment community management experience; 5 years preferred.
- Proven experience managing budgets, collections, leasing performance, and staff.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid New York State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
Technology Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with property management software preferred

Compensation
