SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience of operating vertical milling machines and the ability to perform independent setups. Experience with 5-axis machining is highly desirable. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality precision parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC vertical milling machines
- Perform complete machine setups independently, including tooling selection, offsets, and fixture alignment
- Interpret and work from blueprints and engineering drawings
- Edit and optimize CNC programs as needed
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and efficiency
- Document work accurately, including machine settings, inspection results and production reports
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of CNC milling experience (vertical milling required)
- Proven ability to perform full machine setups independently
- Experience with 5-axis machining is a strong plus
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials
- Experience with precision inspection tools and quality control processes
- Ability to work independently
