Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our behavioral health and mental health services. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and case managers, to ensure excellence in patient care and adherence to best practices.
- Oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake procedures to establish appropriate care pathways.
- Manage crisis intervention efforts and coordinate emergency responses for patients experiencing mental health crises or PTSD episodes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services across home & community care settings, special education programs, and hospital environments.
- Lead clinical research projects related to behavioral health, autism spectrum disorders, or other developmental disabilities while maintaining meticulous medical records and data collection protocols.
- Provide direct support in individual and group counseling sessions focused on child & family counseling, addiction recovery, or social work interventions.
Experience
- Proven leadership experience as a Clinical Director or senior clinician within behavioral health or mental health settings.
- Extensive background working with children, individuals with disabilities—including autism spectrum disorder—and diverse populations requiring specialized behavioral management strategies.
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, including crisis intervention techniques for acute psychiatric episodes or PTSD care.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, mental health counseling modalities, diagnostic evaluation tools, and case management practices.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA compliance, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical records management.
- Experience working in hospital environments or outpatient clinics delivering psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, social work services, etc.
- Ability to lead clinical research initiatives while ensuring adherence to ethical standards and data collection protocols related to behavioral health studies.
