We are looking for a business leader to serve as our General Sales Manager with a focus on driving customer acquisition and retention throughout our sales department, with an opportunity for growth into a General Manager role also leading our service department.

Qualifications
- We are looking to hire an individual with at least 5 years experience as a sales leader within automotive retail
- The candidate must have a thorough understanding of fixed operations and variable sales
- Must be a servant leader that understands the importance of training and holding their team accountable
- Forecasting is required and the individual must be able to attain the forecasted goals
- The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in the automotive industry

- Must provide reference(s) from previous work experience - employers, lenders/vendors
Responsibilities
- As a General Sales Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the dealership, manage and mentor the sales & service team, establish and maintain customer relationships, and work closely with the executive team to develop and implement the plans
- Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven, and experienced General Sales Manager who will be responsible for the dealership's sales objectives, goals, and overall customer satisfaction
- To accomplish this, the manager must effectively manage the sales personnel, sales, finance, service & parts managers, and understand the sales & service department's financial data
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in dealer management
- Passionate about customer retention and CSI in Sales
- Determine monthly and yearly forecasts in terms of unit sales, gross profit objectives, and departmental profits
- Work with each salesperson & manager to work on specific goals and objectives
- Create a positive sales culture and a “team” atmosphere focusing on employee retention
- Conduct Sales meetings
- Maintain a balanced inventory
- Collaborate with the marketing department to create the best overall strategy to meet dealership sales goals
