Our Automotive Controller plays a pivotal role in the financial health and strategic direction of our automotive dealership. We are immediately hiring and offer a competitive compensation package which will include a bonus plus salary and multiple company benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure accuracy across all accounts.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop short- and long-term financial forecasts to guide dealership strategy.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax codes, payroll regulations, and manufacturer reporting standards.
- Cash Management: Monitor cash flow and recommend profitable uses for excess funds.
- Audit & Inventory Oversight: Coordinate annual audits and physical inventory checks.
- Team Leadership: Supervise accounting staff and ensure proper procedures are followed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong background in accounting and finance, ideally with a CPA or similar certification.
- Experience in automotive retail or manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in dealership management systems like CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
