Assistant Service Manager
A well-established Luxury Automobile dealership in Washington, PA is seeking a high-performing Assistant Service Manager to lead and support service operations. This leadership role focuses on employee development, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The Assistant Service Manager will provide day-to-day leadership within the Service Department by effectively coaching and developing staff, managing operations, and optimizing workflow efficiency. This role is instrumental in work dispatching, performance management, handling escalations, and driving performance across advisors, technicians, and mobile service.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist the Service Manager with daily operations of the Service Department, including scheduling and execution
● Lead, coach, and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff
● Dispatch repair and service work efficiently to maximize productivity
● Ensure efficient workflow between service advisors, technicians, parts, and dispatch
● Manage customer and internal escalations with professionalism and urgency
● Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of service personnel
● Drive process improvements and support change management initiatives
● Reinforce performance standards, accountability, and dealership processes
● Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet and commercial clients

Qualifications & Experience
● Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
● 4 years of dealership experience preferred
● 2 years in automotive service advisor role required
● Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
● Luxury dealership experience preferred
● Fleet service experience strongly preferred
● Diesel engine knowledge preferred
