Associate Attorney - (Confidential Practice)
We are a long-established San Antonio law firm with deep roots and a synergistic, people-first culture. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney as we expand our practice in elder, family, and government law. As we evolve and grow, we are seeking a licensed Texas attorney with 3 – 5 years of experience with guardianships, estate planning, probate and divorce cases to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle guardianship and conservatorship cases – draft petitions, attend hearings, interface with courts, care providers, and families.
2. Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and related estate planning documents.
3. Administer probate matters and represent fiduciaries in court proceedings.
4. Provide legal counsel to governmental entities.
5. Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
6. Build trusted relationships with clients.

Job Requirements
1. Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; active Texas Bar license.
2. Preferably 3-5 years of experience in general civil litigation or in elder law, guardianships and probate – or a combination thereof. Strong interest paired with attorney-level capability is welcomed.
3. Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills; comfort handling administrative hearings and court advocacy.
4. The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
5. Empathy, professionalism, ethical judgment, and ability to build client trust in emotionally sensitive situations.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
