12-30 hours * Morning *Afternoon Hours.
Looking for a new member of our team to join us as we make changes and renovations in our business. Our need is a baker for our wholesale customers. Generally it is 20-30 hours per week. This will be based on need (orders). We do have some flexibility for hours.
A solid independent work with a good resume and references are needed please.
Responsibilities and skills
- Assist bakers and baker assistants with bakery duties
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to manage shifts
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Grocery run if the need arises
- Prepare and portion dough, cakes, etc.
- Set up bakery for bakery operations
- Assist with product ordering
- Clean, maintain and sanitize bakery area
- Assist team members when needed to meet orders and deadlines
Qualifications
- Experience in baking, pastry a plus!
- Familiarity with food handling and safety standards in a kitchen environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a background in catering or restaurant settings.
- Cabable of working independently
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food industry.
- Bi-lingual a plus but not required
Pay: $25.00 per hour
