Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong Wire EDM experience to join its production team. This role is ideal for a hands-on machinist who can independently set up, program, and operate CNC equipment with minimal training.
The successful candidate will have experience producing high-precision components while maintaining strict quality standards and working from complex engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Program and edit G-Code at the machine control.
- Complete production documentation and quality records.
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices.
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Produce precision components to required tolerances and quality standards.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve performance and efficiency.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with CNC mills and lathes.
- Experience programming and editing G-Code.
- Minimum 4 years of CNC machining experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T callouts.
- Hands-on experience setting up and operating Wire EDM machines.
- Strong understanding of shop math, trigonometry, and manufacturing tolerances.
- Experience using precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Makino equipment.
- Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.
- Experience machining ceramic or other specialty materials.
- Experience using EDM software such as Mastercam or Esprit.
- Background in precision manufacturing, aerospace, tooling, mold, die, or similar industries.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to safely perform machining operations in a manufacturing environment.
Salary : $51,000 - $70,000
