We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our consumer products manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial stability, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

· Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

· Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

· Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to support operational efficiency.

Compliance and Reporting:

· Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific requirements.

· Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external reporting purposes.

· Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits.

Cost Management:

· Analyze and control costs, providing insights into cost drivers and efficiency improvements.

· Implement cost accounting methods to enhance cost visibility and optimize resource allocation.

Strategic Financial Planning:

· Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies that align with organizational goals.

· Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes.

Team Leadership:

· Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

· Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

· Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role, preferably in distribution or manufacturing with experience in Ecomm/DTC sales (i.e. Shopify)

· Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

· Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
