A commercial real estate investment and management firm is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial properties. This role is responsible for property operations, financial performance, tenant relations, facilities oversight, capital projects, and vendor management.
Location: Onsite in Boston, MA
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of an assigned commercial property portfolio, ensuring a high standard of operations and tenant satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong tenant relationships through responsive communication and exceptional customer service.
- Manage property budgets, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, rent collections, and expense reconciliations.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and capital improvement projects while ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Oversee third-party vendors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring quality performance and contract compliance.
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with applicable safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
- Support lease administration, tenant move-ins and move-outs, and other occupancy-related activities.
- Partner with internal teams to execute operational initiatives, capital projects, and tenant improvement projects.
- Lead, coach, and develop on-site property management and facilities team members.
- Respond to property emergencies and resolve operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of commercial property management experience.
- Experience managing Class A real estate assets preferred.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, CAM reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience managing vendors, capital projects, and building operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and commercial property management software.
