Overview:
We are a well-established and growing company looking for a true Full-Charge Bookkeeper who can independently own the entire accounting function with little to no supervision. This is the perfect role for a seasoned bookkeeper who desires autonomy and takes pride in delivering perfect books every month.
Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle A/P and A/R (vendor bills, customer invoicing, collections)
- Payroll processing for employees
- Bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations
- Monthly close process and preparation of full financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Budget vs Actual)
- Sales tax, use tax, and business property tax filings
- Year-end close and preparation of schedules for external CPA/tax preparer
- Maintaining internal controls and recommending process improvements
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience (must have handled everything above with minimal oversight)
- Advanced QuickBooks proficiency
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Experience producing accurate financials that external CPAs rely on
- Ability to spot discrepancies and investigate/root-cause issues quickly
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external personnel
- Degree or coursework in Accounting preferred

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
