$2.50 Shift Premium
Summary: Proven documented experience setting up, trouble shooting, and operating a CNC Lathe Machining Center.
Essential Skills.
Set-up and operate a CNC Lathe machining center to complete daily work orders.
Ability to read and interpret component prints or drawings, make average to complicated arithmetic calculations, and resolve technical problems.
Must be proficient in use of measuring devices (i.e. micrometers and calipers).
Mounting, installing, aligning, and securing tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Utilize knowledge of machining processes to produce quality parts.
Conduct first piece & hourly inspection to ensure quality standards.
Successfully demonstrate trouble shooting and problem-solving ability.
Understands the preventative maintenance requirements of CNC Lathes and Implements maintenance based on defined schedules.
Understands the 5S and Workplace Organization of Lathe work-centers and demonstrates ability to maintain each work area within these guidelines.
Must demonstrate ability to complete parts to the established production rates.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or GED
A trade school degree (preferred)
2 years’ experience as a CNC Machinist
Physical Working Conditions:
Job requires repetitively lifting average weight objects with repetitive bending and stooping.
Frequently lifts heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
Job may require physical exertion such as long periods of standing.
Job may require above average agility and dexterity.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
