Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, improving maintenance processes, and leading a high-performing maintenance team.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and a solid technical background in manufacturing systems, automation, and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Lead and manage maintenance staff, including scheduling, coaching, and performance management
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize downtime
- Support hiring, training, and development of maintenance personnel
Maintenance & Reliability
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
- Drive machine uptime and equipment reliability while controlling repair costs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, automation, and facility-related issues
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
Systems & Compliance
- Maintain maintenance procedures and records in compliance with company and industry standards
- Monitor maintenance KPIs and analyze downtime data using MES/CMMS systems
- Assist with inventory control, budgeting, and cost reduction initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, and company policies
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 3–5 years of maintenance/reliability experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Working knowledge of:
- PLCs & ladder logic
- Robotics and automation systems
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- CMMS/MES systems
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Equivalent maintenance and reliability experience considered
Preferred Skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Plastics manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
