Investment Banking Associate – Tech, Healthcare, Industrials | Chicago, IL

Overview:

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Associates to join our teams across Technology, Healthcare, and Industrials. The Associate will play a key role in transaction execution, client engagement, and strategic advisory across M&A, capital markets, and financial restructuring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support execution of M&A transactions, IPOs, debt and equity financings.
• Build and review complex financial models including DCF, LBO, merger models, and public comparables.
• Conduct industry and company research to support pitch materials and transaction analysis.
• Prepare client presentations, offering memoranda, and internal committee materials.
• Coordinate due diligence processes and liaise with clients, legal teams, and other advisors.
• Mentor and manage Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development.

Sector-Specific Exposure

• Technology: Work with high-growth SaaS, IT services, and digital platforms; focus on innovation, scalability, and recurring revenue models.
• Healthcare: Advise companies in healthcare services, biotech, and medtech; navigate regulatory environments and clinical pipelines.
• Industrials: Support transactions in manufacturing, logistics, and industrial services; focus on operational efficiency and strategic growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking or related financial services.
• Strong technical skills in financial modeling and valuation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management abilities.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
