Overview:
Our client is a well-respected leader in Private Label food & beverage that is rapidly growing. Due to promotion, they are looking for a senior account manager with experience with Food Lion, or any other Ahold Delhaize (ADUSA) banners i.e. Food Lion, Hannaford, Stop & Shop, Giant Foods, Giant Company.
Position Summary:
- Execute specific programs designed to achieve profitable sales volume.
- Develop strong business relationships with Key Accounts across various business units to ensure objectives are met.
- Conduct post audits on all promotional events.
- Develop and maintain strong internal relationships with cross-functional groups including finance, supply chain, operations, and marketing.
- Analyze various data sources/insights to identify business opportunities.
- Work with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to provide insight into upcoming events, promotions, distribution, or POS changes.
- Management of financial budgets.
- Accurate completion of all administrative tasks (expense reports, pricing templates, deal sheets, forecasts, new item sheets, and weekly reports).
Requirements:
- 5 years of Account Management experience with Food Lion (or any other ADUSA banners i.e. Food Lion, Hannaford, Stop & Shop, Giant Foods, Giant Company. )
- Private Label Food or Beverage experience
- “Farmer” versus “Hunter” mentality – focus on taking care of existing business
- Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are required.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimal overnight (6 trips per year plus meetings at HQ and occasional trade show i.e. PLMA)
