Position Description
Position Title:- Assistant Project Manager – Leadership Development Program
Position Summary:
This role serves as the central coordination point between the Sales Team and operational departments at the corporate office / plant. The Assistant Project Manager will support sales-driven and private label projects by ensuring clear communication, accurate documentation, and effective prioritization across all stakeholders.
Designed as part of a Leadership Development Program, this position provides exposure to all facets of the business, including procurement, supply chain, production, manufacturing, and labeling. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, an excellent listener, and capable of translating complex project details into clear, actionable communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary coordination link between Sales and plant-based departments
- Facilitate communication across:
- Procurement
- Supply Chain
- Production Planning
- Manufacturing
- Labeling / Packaging
- Track, document, and prioritize all sales-driven and private label projects
- Attend cross-functional meetings and capture clear notes, action items, and timelines
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Identify potential delays or issues and communicate proactively
- Support execution of retail and private label initiatives (e.g., Costco, Sam’s Club)
- Maintain organized project tracking systems and reporting tools
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Business, Supply Chain, Food Science, Agriculture, Operations, or similar)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- 0–2 years professional experience
- Exposure to food manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Interest in leadership development and cross-functional career growth
Work Structure:
- Based primarily at the plant
- On-site presence required multiple days per week
