Job Description
We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist who will be responsible for the administrative side of the HR function, with a focus on payroll and basic personnel management.
This is a hands-on, day-to-day operational role where this person will serve as the main point of reference to ensure processes run in an organized and efficient way.
The role acts as the entry point for team-related matters: gathering, organizing, and channeling information to management.
You will be part of a well-established company with a long track record and a stable environment, where this role has a direct impact on the day-to-day operations of the team.
Key Responsibilities Processing payroll
- Providing clerical and administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Maintaining human resources records for employees, compiling and updating their personal information, as well as tracking vacation, sick, personal time and completing forms, reports and different logs
- Providing orientation for new employees by providing information packets, reviewing company policies, gathering withholding and other payroll information and explaining benefit programs
- This includes collecting required employment information such as I-9s, employment applications, background checks, reference checks, resumes and benefit information
- Provide support on health benefits management and the enrollment process
Profile We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in administrative HR roles
- Basic experience with ADP or payroll systems
- Bilingual: English & Spanish
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Experience in small or mid-sized companies is a plus
