The Role:
The Senior Finance Director will lead the financial operations, strategy, and planning to drive growth and profitability across two NYC locations of a growing hospitality group. Responsibilities include overseeing accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. This is an in person role and works out of our location in Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop long-term financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to meet company objectives.
- Financial Operations: Oversee daily accounting, cash management, and financial reporting (income statements, balance sheets).
- Budgeting & Analysis: Lead the annual budget process, monitor performance, and provide variance analysis to executive leadership.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards, manage tax compliance, and maintain robust internal controls.
- Leadership: Mentor the finance manager, manage relationships with auditors/banks, and advise on cost-saving opportunities.
- Decision Support: Analyze financial data to inform strategic business initiatives and evaluate potential risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics; CPA or MBA
- 10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience in a multi-unit hospitality setting, with 6 years leadership experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, regulatory frameworks, and GAAP.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities.
Salary : $165,000 - $195,000
