Location: Berwick - Bloomsburg area
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

We are seeking an experienced Dietary Manager to oversee dietary operations at our skilled nursing facility in the Berwick - Bloomsburg area. In this role, you will ensure high-quality food service while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dietary department

• Manage food service staff, including scheduling, hiring, and performance management

• Conduct probationary and annual employee evaluations and administer disciplinary actions as needed

• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and approved substitutions

• Ensure food is prepared according to standardized recipes and special diet orders

• Review resident care plans to ensure dietary needs are being met

• Provide nutrition support with guidance from a Registered Dietitian

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support overall facility operations

• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and dietary regulations

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred; candidates with strong dietary management experience may be considered without certification

• Current ServSafe Certification preferred

• Previous long-term care experience preferred

• Prior management or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

• COVID-19 vaccination required unless an approved exemption is provided
