What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Business Empowerment and Support position at Confidential Government?
The Director of the Business Empowerment and Support Department will oversee efforts to empower and support the business environment by reviewing policies and legislation, guiding the development of plans and programs that support business owners, institutions, and investors, and coordinating with relevant entities to stimulate investment and enhance partnerships, thereby contributing to the achievement of developmental and strategic goals.
Manin Responsibilities:
- Supervising ongoing studies of the business environment, documenting investment opportunities, and identifying their competitive advantages.
- Reviewing legislations, laws, and policies related to business structure and the investment environment, and ensuring their alignment with business enablement.
- Supervising the preparation of the enablement plan and monitoring its implementation in coordination with the relevant departments.
- Reviewing the incentive package for innovative initiatives and enhancing its contribution to business enablement.
- Continuous review of the business enablement plan and updating it according to strategic priorities.
- Reviewing periodic performance and achievement reports and identifying development and improvement requirements to ensure work efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitoring the stimulation and enablement of small and medium enterprises.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8 years in Operations, Business Development, or Organizational Leadership, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Bachelor’s degree in: (Public Relations/ Business Administration/Media & Communications/Investment/Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- professional certificates: PMP, Lean Six Sigma
