What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Scientist - Beverage position at Confidential - Food & Beverage?
Responsibilities
- Management and completion of beverage development projects including but not limited to tea, coffee, soft drinks, energy drinks, enhanced water and alcoholic beverages
- Ability to source and manage: ingredients, flavors, equipment, external flavor houses, external contract manufacturers, etc.
- Understand requirements and implications of beverage processing: aseptic, hot fill, retort, cold fill, etc.
- Create and document finished goods bottling formulas for costing and production
- Provide technical support to customers and internal departments on beverage application issues
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Food Science, Chemistry or related subject
- 2-3 years experience in flavor applications and/or beverage product development
- Must be able to work independently, handle multiple time-sensitive project simultaneously
- Must have own transportation, be able to work on-site in Simi Valley
- NO RELOCATION
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
