Responsibilities – Automotive Body Shop Manager:
- Oversee all daily operations of the collision center to ensure production efficiency and high-quality repairs
- Lead and manage a team of estimators, body technicians, and painters
- Coordinate repair schedules, parts ordering, and workflow to maximize throughput
- Maintain compliance with OEM repair standards and safety protocols
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, customers, and internal departments
- Track performance metrics, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to promote accountability and growth
Requirements/Qualifications – Automotive Body Shop Manager:
- 3 years of experience managing an automotive collision or body shop (dealership experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of collision repair processes, estimating systems (CCC ONE or similar), and insurance procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to drive productivity while maintaining high quality standards.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- I-CAR certification or equivalent industry credentials a plus.
