About the Role
Our client is a fast-growing consumer technology and entertainment startup operating in a highly regulated category. They’re seeking a hands-on Director of Marketing to build and scale marketing from the ground up. Reporting to executive leadership, you will drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention for an omni-channel product with both in-venue and digital touch points. This is a rare opportunity to shape the marketing vision for a disruptive entrant in the Nevada market.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy aligned to growth targets across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Lead brand positioning, messaging, and creative development for distinct differentiation in a competitive landscape.
- Orchestrate integrated campaigns across paid media, social, email/CRM, partnerships, and on-the-ground activations.
- Translate customer insights and market trends into programs that improve CAC efficiency, engagement, and LTV.
- Partner with product, operations, and legal/compliance to ensure programs meet regulatory and brand standards.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with venues, media, creators, and community organizations to expand reach.
- Design and launch promotions, events, and loyalty initiatives that deepen engagement and repeat usage.
- Define KPI frameworks and dashboards; track, report, and continuously optimize ROI and budget allocation.
- Manage agency/vendor relationships and marketing budgets with a test-and-learn mindset.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years of progressive marketing experience with measurable growth outcomes.
- Experience in a regulated consumer category (e.g., gaming/entertainment, fintech, hospitality) preferred.
- Familiarity with Nevada market dynamics strongly preferred.
- Proven success running integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Hands-on expertise with analytics, attribution, and CRM/lifecycle platforms.
- Experience with event marketing, promotions, and loyalty or membership programs.
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
