Accounting Specialist – Southaven, MS
A well-established industrial and environmental services company is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Specialist to join our team in Southaven, MS.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time
Perform billing functions and maintain client account records
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Generate financial reports and support management with financial data as needed
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation
Requirements:
5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Strong knowledge of AP/AR and billing processes
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
