About the Company
We are hiring an IT & Data Operations Specialist to join our Security team and support the day-to-day execution of our IT systems and data privacy operations.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on daily system operations, user lifecycle management, and data handling processes across the organization. This is not a policy or strategy role; it is execution-focused, ensuring systems run smoothly and data is handled correctly and securely.
About the Role
This role is focused on IT operations, user access management, and data operations across internal systems.
You will partner closely with IT, Security, HR, and Business teams to manage onboarding/offboarding, system access, and data workflows, while supporting basic privacy and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
IT Operations & User Lifecycle (Core Focus)
- Execute employee onboarding and offboarding across all systems (account setup, access provisioning, deprovisioning)
- Manage user access requests, role-based permissions, and system changes
- Maintain accurate access controls, user lists, and system records
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding experience
- Troubleshoot day-to-day system and access issues across tools (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
System Administration & Data Operations
- Support daily operations across internal systems (HRIS, CRM, support tools, collaboration platforms)
- Assist with data entry, updates, and data integrity checks across systems
- Help manage data flows between systems, including imports/exports and basic integrations
- Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and workflows
- Identify and flag data inconsistencies or system issues
Data Privacy & Compliance Support
- Support DSAR (data subject request) fulfillment by gathering data from systems
- Assist with data access reviews and audits
- Help maintain data inventories and basic records of processing activities (RoPA)
- Ensure proper data handling practices during onboarding, offboarding, and daily operations
- Support cookie consent and preference management tools (basic administration)
Security & Audit Support
- Assist with user access reviews and audit preparation
- Ensure access provisioning aligns with security policies
- Support basic security and compliance tasks, including documentation and evidence gathering
- Escalate risks related to unauthorized access or data exposure
Tools & Process Improvement
- Help manage and support tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, HRIS, CRM systems, and privacy tools
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and automate repetitive tasks
- Contribute to building repeatable, scalable processes for IT and data operations
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, system administration, or data operations
- Experience managing user onboarding/offboarding and access provisioning
- Familiarity with common business systems (Google Workspace, Slack, HRIS, CRM, ticketing tools)
- Strong attention to detail with experience handling sensitive data
- Basic understanding of data privacy principles (GDPR, CCPA) is a plus
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with IT, HR, and business teams
- Must be able to commute and work in the office 3x/week.

Pay range and compensation package
Compensation ranges from $95,000 -125,000, with total earnings based on an OTE (On-Target Earnings) basis. The amount will depend on relevant experience, demonstrated expertise, and overall fit for the role, aligning with market benchmarks and internal equity.
