Deburring Technician (1701043)     $16 - $17 per hour

Daily Workflow:

» Clean and maintain deburring equipment 

» Work with various metals including aluminum, steel, and stainless steel

» Inspect and remove sharp edges and burrs from cut or machined sheet metal parts

» Operate deburring machines, such as grinders, sanders, and tumblers

» Uses hand tools, such as files and deburring knives, to smooth edges

» Polishes and finish sheet metal surfaces to meet specified standards

» Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to understand part specifications

We’re Seeking:

» Attention to detail to identify small imperfections and ensure precise, smooth edges on metal parts

» Ability to use hand tools and deburring equipment carefully to remove burrs and finish parts

» Basic blueprint reading skills needed to interpret technical drawings, (preferred)

» Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, crawl and stand on hard surfaces for the full shift

» Safety awareness is critical to follow protocols and avoid accidents when working with sharp tools and metal edges.

Schedule:

» Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm (4-day, 40-hour workweek)
