Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Floor Tech for long term care nursing facility in Lake City, FL. Apply today. Walk-ins Welcome! Lake City Nursing Home. 298 SW Prosperity Place, Lake City Florida 32024.
Floor Tech Key Duties
- Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
- Various pieces of equipment are properly and safely operated such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
- Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated locations after each use.
- Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.
- Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
Floor Tech Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
- Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.
- Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
