Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure clients take their medications as prescribed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with mobility and transfers.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in caregiving or related healthcare field is an asset.
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and household tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
