What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cake Decorator position at CONFECTIONARY CUPBOARD?
Confectionary Cupboard is looking for an experienced cake decorator with fondant skills to join our 8 person strong team. We are located on 7300 Center St, Mentor, Ohio. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and has reliable transportation. Approximately 30 hours per week no evenings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in decoration of cakes, cupcakes, and special orders.
- Comprehend and preform Confectionary Cupboard’s process of cake decorating, pricing, and customer orders.
Qualifications
- Decorate cake from start to finish: level, trim, dirty ice, and decorate according to order specifications and Confectionary Cupboard’s standard.
- Able to make buttercream flowers.
- Ability to answer the phone and take customer orders.
- Able to write legibly and creatively in buttercream on cakes/cake boards.
Additional Skills
- Some professional experience is required
- Elevated Fondant skills are a plus
