Responsibilities
- Develop precise project estimates by analyzing drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software such as AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
- Create detailed technical drawings and schematics that clearly communicate design intent and construction requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to interpret project scope and refine designs accordingly.
- Prepare comprehensive bid packages by sourcing materials, labor costs, and subcontractor quotes while ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Conduct system design assessments for mechanical, electrical, or interior projects using specialized CAD tools and drafting techniques.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings, estimates, revisions, and correspondence to support seamless project workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Rhino 3D, ArchiCAD or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, schematic development, drafting standards, and system design principles.
- Familiarity with graphic design principles and 2D animation techniques for visual presentations.
- Knowledge of interior design concepts and mechanical design is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex technical drawings accurately.
