Financial Analyst
What you will do:
- Assist with daily margin analysis to identify issues proactively and work with the business to correct.
- Assist with field questions related to P&Ls, margins, costs, supplier programs, and freight.
- Provide accurate, timely, and reliable financial reports to Regional, Divisional, Branch and Corporate administration as assigned
- Provide financial and business analysis to support key strategic targets
- Assist Regional, Divisional, and Branch managers in analyzing their business to improve operating and financial performance
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, strategic plans, quarterly presentations, forecasts, and monthly business narratives
- Participate in monthly financial close, working with business managers and operational accounting departments as necessary
- Work across all North American retail operating regions to identify and support opportunities for increased profitability
- Data Harmonization, Testing and Margin analysis
- Contribute to the integration of legacy companies
- Keep abreast of current trends and practices in the industry and field of expertise
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution
- 3 years’ experience in Financial Analysis
- Demonstrated critical skills are necessary
- Highly detail oriented
