Mechanical Foreman

Conewago is currently accepting applications for an experienced Mechanical Foreman with at least 5 years' of hands-on experience in the field. Applicant should have working knowledge with installation, replacement and repair of a wide variety of equipment primarily associated with water and wastewater treatment facilities. 

Our projects are both new construction and existing rehabilitation projects requiring at times cleaning of the system to do scheduled maintenance.  To be successful in this role, we are looking for an applicant that is both a self-starter and self-sufficient and is able to trouble shoot problems onsite.  While Conewago strives to balance workload requirements, this role will see some overtime and off shift hours for shut downs and other scheduled activities as required.

The Mechanical Foreman must have working knowledge of the following :

• Rigging and setting process equipment.
• Flange pipe installation.
• PVC pipe installation.
• Pipe Layout
• Oversee equipment startups

• Understanding of environmental pump packages and other associated environmental equipment installations.
• Understanding of electricity and how it affects the environmental equipment installations for reasonable trouble shooting. 
• A critical thinking & creative mindset to help layout and install environmental equipment packages & associated piping.
• Critical Path scheduling.
