Conen's Freight Transport, Inc. operates island wide on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are looking for reliable Warehouse Workers to safely handle cargo to load and off-load containers, trucks and freight from walk-in customers. We have positions open in Hilo and Kona.

Duties:
- Loading, unloading, and moving freight between delivery and storage areas as instructed.
- Coordinating the movement of freight with other workers.
- Marking items with identifying information.
- Report any shortages and damages immediately and make exceptions upon acceptance when necessary.
- Moving freight manually or with specialized machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Stacking freight at specified locations using pallets.
- Preventing damage to transported freight by using protective devises such as padding and straps.
- Operate Company Equipment safely and with care.
- Follow safety polices to prevent injury and/or damage
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Requirements: * Current/valid Hawaii Drivers License
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to adhere to safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to operate specialized freight moving equipment and to prevent damage.
- MUST be reliable and dependable
