Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is seeking a full-time Epic Business Intelligence Developer in Johnstown, PA. The Epic Business Intelligence Developer creates custom reports and data extracts for the organization. The primary duty is to analyze, provide specifications, and write individual reports for any applications they are assigned to. Will participate on project teams and provide analytics system report expertise, to the team and report consumers. The responsibilities include validating Epic foundation reports, creating design specifications for new reports and data extracts, creating new reports using third party tools such as Crystal Reports and Business Objects, modify existing reports as necessary, testing of report design and volume testing, report distribution using system tools. The Epic Business Intelligence Developer may be required to provide off-hours on-call support.

Qualifications:
Essential Responsibilities:
Acting as the primary report designer for assigned Epic applications.
Meeting with Application Reporting Leads and requestors to understand their data needs.
Creating design specifications for new reports and file extracts.
Modifying existing reports and file extracts, as necessary.
Distributing reports to report consumers using system tools.
Reviewing peer reports for validity.
Understanding the choices involved in application configuration.
Identifying and validating the appropriate technological solutions for various reporting needs.
Prioritizing and implementing requested reports.
Analyzing new functionality in Epic releases to determine how it will affect reports.
Reviewing and testing each report for new release.
Collecting information regarding potential system enhancement needs.
Working with Epic representatives and the organization's business community and end users to ensure.
reports meet the organization's business needs.
Troubleshooting problems and questions from end users.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Science, or related technical field or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Experience:
Required: Proficient in use of Microsoft office products. Preferred: One to two years of Information System support and/or implementation.Certification/Licensure/Registration:
Required: Certification and re-certification in assigned Epic modules upon six months of hire.
