With a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab, Conemaugh Nason offers a range of inpatient and outpatient cardiac services close to home. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care as an accredited chest pain center and offers comprehensive outpatient, imaging, diagnostic, and specialty services. How You'll Contribute
A Nurse Technician who excels in this role:
- Provides basic patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Obtains and records vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other patient information as directed.
- Assists with positioning, transferring, and transporting patients safely.
- Responds to patient call lights and assists with patient comfort and safety needs.
- Helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
- Observes patients and promptly reports changes in condition or concerns to the appropriate nursing staff.
- Assists nursing staff with procedures and other patient care activities within the scope of the role.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintains patient confidentiality and follows hospital safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
