How you’ll contribute

A Graduate Nurse (GN) who excels in this role:

Evaluate

• - Independently evaluates and determines work assignments and evaluates job
• performance, recognizes performances.
• Assigns and Directs Work—Covers call-offs, adjusts schedule as needed.
Adjusts Grievances
• - Meets with employees to listen to and resolve employee issues and
• grievance.
Discipline
• - Implements performance improvements including verbal counseling.
Exercises Supervisory Authority
• - Develops and implements department and/or hospital policy; insures all employees are trained in policy; exercises discretion, independent of policy to insure proper function of department or subdepartment.
• Supervise staff delivering patient care within Emergency Services.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should have a current state RN license or PA Temporary Practice Permit. Possess a degree from an accredited nursing school.

• Must obtain PA RN License within 3 months of hire
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• BLS
• ACLS, within 6-months of hire
