This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Transcriptionist located in Westlake Village, CA. The Medical Transcriptionist will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical dictations, reviewing and editing transcriptions for accuracy, and ensuring all documentation aligns with medical and legal standards. Other tasks include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and adhering to confidentiality protocols.
- Proven skills in Transcribing, Transcription, and Transcription Services
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Proficient Typing skills with a high level of accuracy and speed
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with medical record-keeping systems and relevant transcription software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or certification in medical transcription is preferred
