The Patient Access Trainer coordinates and delivers training materials and training sessions to craft a curriculum structure for the Patient Access system. Working under general supervision for routine situations, this role promotes competency with the Patient Access system to most accurately process billing and patient information.
Essential Job Function:
- Assists in the development and implementation of training materials to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of Patient Access employees.
- Tracks key metrics in employee performance to assess the effectiveness of trainings and communicate findings to department leadership.
- Identifies issues and makes suggestions to improve and enhance the organization's internal system setup and operations.
- Serves as a resource to resolve Patient Access problems, inquiries, and system requests across the organization.
- Ensures the organization complies to federally mandated privacy rules and health network policies by including these topics in training materials.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Required: Associate's Degree.
Experience:
- Required: 3 years of related experience.
