Position Overview
Conectiv Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Distribution Engineer to support warehouse and distribution operations by analyzing processes, improving efficiency, and assisting with the implementation of operational improvements. This role works closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure safe, cost-effective, and efficient warehouse performance.
Key Responsibilities
This position operates in both office and warehouse environments and may require interaction with warehouse equipment, forklifts, and automated systems. Safety equipment may be required while on the warehouse floor.

Position Overview
Conectiv Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Distribution Engineer to support warehouse and distribution operations by analyzing processes, improving efficiency, and assisting with the implementation of operational improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing warehouse workflows, material movement, and distribution processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, safety, quality, and cost reduction.
- Monitor warehouse performance metrics and prepare operational reports and data analysis.
- Assist with inventory accuracy, cycle count programs, and storage optimization projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support shipping, receiving, and distribution activities.
- Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Participate in warehouse layout planning and space utilization projects.
- Support implementation and troubleshooting of warehouse management systems (WMS) and automation equipment.
- Conduct time studies, process mapping, and root cause analysis to identify operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with equipment performance monitoring and preventive maintenance coordination.
- Support special engineering and logistics projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, Logistics, or related field required.
- Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems preferred.
- Ability to interpret operational data and generate reports.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
