Warehouse Worker (Day Shift)

We have a full-time Warehouse Worker position available with our team in Louisville, KY. This position will work in a chemical distribution environment in the outdoors 90% of the time in all weather conditions. Pay is $20 an hour plus O/T pay after 40 hours. Hours worked are typically 7am - 5pm Monday through Friday. We may require additional weekend work depending on the work load.

Requirements

• Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting.
• Lifting requirements limited to 75 lbs. in the form of samples, supplies, etc.
• Longest distance carried is approximately 50 feet.
• Hand manipulation is required for operating equipment.
• Right and/or left hand utilized.
• Occasional need for reaching and/or work above the shoulders, as well as below the shoulders.
• Must be alert to equipment, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, climb stairs, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature and/or humidity.

Job Duties

• Operation of forklift for loading drums on drum trucks and moving drums to storage in warehouse.
• Drumming, marking and labeling of all products.
• Inspection of drums before being used.
• Review all paperwork for deliveries and placarding the truck.
• Proper off-loading and sampling of bulk product received at FLS Facilities.
• Loading/Unloading of all Commercial Trailers and/or Railcars
• General housekeeping of vehicles, warehouse, drumming room, loading rack, driver’s room and terminal grounds.
• Safety of fellow employee’s, the general public, customer’s, the environment, and terminal grounds.
• Use of all required personal protection equipment.
• Report any unsafe conditions and procedures to your supervisor.
