Position: Kitchen Manager
Cone Palace is seeking a qualified Kitchen Manager to join our management team. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who can develop a strong kitchen team, uphold operational standards, and consistently deliver high-quality food and service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the kitchen team through lunch, dinner, and weekend rushes, including opening and closing procedures
- Maintain food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Train, coach, and develop kitchen staff
- Ensure proper food preparation, portioning, and equipment care
- Manage kitchen flow and delegate tasks effectively during peak periods
- Hold team members accountable to performance and safety standards
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and product rotation
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with the General Manager, Kitchen Lead, and fellow managers
- Help foster a positive, respectful, and productive work environment
Ideal Candidate
- Previous restaurant kitchen management or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Calm, organized, and effective under pressure
- Leads by example and works alongside the team
- High attention to cleanliness, food safety, and quality
- Dependable and comfortable holding others accountable
- Skilled at training and developing employees
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and shift coverage as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills
