Overview

 Responsible for ensuring the pick-up, transportation, and delivery of supplies, mail, and labs to off site campuses. Items and media are routed through the Offsite Distribution Center Hub, the Hospital Receiving Departments, Hospital Labs, those requisitioned through Materials Management Department, and Pharmacy locations, using hospital owned vehicles.

Responsibilities

 

 Performs courier duties which include van pick-ups and deliveries, without deviation from the established schedule or dispatched routes.--------------------------------------------------Appropriately stages orders for truck delivery for all off-site facilities.--------------------------------------------------Responsible for auditing condition of vehicle and general maintenance of the hospital vehicle.--------------------------------------------------Operates vehicle in safe and consistent manner in compliance with all DOT regulations and motor vehicle regulations including no texting while driving and no personal calls while driving.--------------------------------------------------Service Oriented, effectively communicates with departments/end users.--------------------------------------------------

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:High School Diploma or equivalent, Required

 

EXPERIENCE:1 Year, RequiredRequired: Minimum of one (1) year experience driving box trucks, cargo vans, cars in a supply chain logistics field.

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDDrivers License | Valid Drivers LicenseAcceptable driving record.PREFERRED
