Objective

To lead in the selling, planning, and execution of shelf set schematics and to provide relief to Team Cone management, to effectively provide support and manpower for store resets in all channels of trade, both large and small format, independent or chain. To provide feedback and follow up on set execution. To ensure that any issues are reported to the correct team members. To assist in other business activities such as the hanging of POS, cooler wraps, neon lights, etc., or as directed.

Responsibilities/Expectations

• Responsible for designing and adjusting of shelf and space planograms.
• Must be able to read and interpret planograms.
• Has the ability to expertly use JDA or other such cooler or shelf management software.
• Duties include verification of chain set proposals on various web portals prior to due by date.
• The ability to use and interpret various forms of sales data, such as Nielsen numbers, in the design and verification of sets.
• Printing of final planograms.
• In charge of communicating and copying planogram information to the correct personnel.
• Responsible le for the proper storage of up to date planograms for the company, both on server and in RAS.
• Work alongside of Planning Manager on the implementation and scheduling of key independent or chain sets, when assigned.
• Must have in depth knowledge of product adjacencies and product segments.
• Will need to execute sets as planned. Any adjustments or changes to the plan need to be documented and communicated back to KAMs or team lead.
• Must adhere to store procedures and policies regarding resets.
• Ensure correct placement of reverse images if set lead or at independent sets.
• Leave a copy of the set with the correct store personnel.
• Ensure all new items are properly placed.
• Properly stock coolers, back stock, shelves & refill displays to capacity as needed
• Properly remove of all trash involved in the set process, including cardboard, paper, and shrink wrap; stage unused pallets and soda trays for return as designated by the account.
• Neatly stack and place any discontinued items for return in the proper area designated by the account, if applicable. Notify appropriate sales members on items no longer in the planograms.
• Must be able to interact and multiple channels of trade, large and small format, on and off premise.
• Communicate any missing items to the correct sales personnel/ ASM.
• Make sure that price labels are placed in front of the correct item. Communicate missing labels at store level for large format chains.
• Send tag requests for any missing via application to the sign shop with the correct sales route number.
• Must be able to arrive at work or store location between the hours of 4 to 6:45 AM depending on the schedule and work until the entire job or project is completed.
• Willingness to work with a flexible schedule with flexible hours.
• Participate in weekend pull-up activities if scheduled; find a replacement if you cannot attend your assigned day.
• Ability to lift 25- 30 lbs. packaged beer and 160 lbs. kegs
• Basic knowledge of the beer and beverage business 
• Effective communication skills for both internal and external communication. Must be able to communicate with store personnel as well as Team Cone members and management
• Timely follow up provided to salesmen, ASMs or Sales Mangers on any issues encountered when working accounts.
• Must have the aptitude to work within a team environment.
• The ability to use Smart Phones, I Pads, computers, or other similar electronic devices in the performance of job duties.
• The ability to work in route accounting software (Encompass).
• Must be able to generate a hotshot order in Encompass in compliance with Cone Distributing’s off day delivery policy.
• Need to be able to know how to properly complete a delivery using RAS (Encompass).
• Code date systems must be thoroughly understood and strictly followed
• Working knowledge of Red Bull set standards and merchandising standards.
• Have a working knowledge of both the Tagify and the Sign Track applications for ordering shelf tags and POS from the sign shop. 
• Restock all warm & cold beer selling areas. Maintain account back stock in orderly condition.
• Maintain proper rotation standards on an ongoing basis when working accounts.
• Attend all cross -training events as scheduled.
• Maintain appropriate dress (uniform) and personal appearance standards (dress policy).
• Maintain assigned equipment (breakdowns, hand trucks, phone etc.) and vehicle. Report vehicle issues to the mechanic on duty immediately.
• Maintain a safe driving record. Report any driving related issues to HR immediately.
• Assist with other tasks as appropriate and/or necessary, such as running sales routes, hot shots, merchandising, deliveries, the hanging of POS window film, cooler wraps, etc.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of malt beverages.
• Attend all group and monthly sales meetings as scheduled.
• Follow safety rules and use safety equipment daily.
• Frequent reaching, standing, and walking and bending.
• Able to pass drug and background check.
• Must possess a Class A CDL with a valid DOT certification card.
• Must participate, communicate, and interact with Team Members, Vendors and Customers in a manner that will consistently enhance all Team Cone Core Values.
• Reliable transportation to and from work           

• Certified Level II Advanced JDA Space Planning or other similar level space management software
• Must be familiar and competent in the use and execution of Space Planning.
• A solid understanding of how to read, interpret and sell with syndicated information, (Nielsen, IRI, BIF Reports etc.)
• Strong situational analysis/problem solving
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Working knowledge of Encompass RAS or other such software
• High School Diploma or GED
• Will consider experience in the field Education
