Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. Duties
- Manage daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Oversee production planning and inventory management to meet customer demands efficiently.
- Implement lean methodologies to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Supervise order fulfillment processes, ensuring accuracy in picking, packing, and shipping.
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize routing and reduce costs.
- Lead a team of warehouse supervisors and staff, providing training and performance evaluations.
- Monitor dispatching activities to ensure timely dispatch of shipments.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular inspections.
- Analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse management or operations management within a distribution center environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with production planning processes and lean methodologies is preferred.
- Experience with transportation management systems is an asset.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
