Condustrial, Inc. is now hiring an experienced site safety manager in Greenville, SC.
We are seeking a highly qualified and proactive Site Safety Manager. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction safety management, risk mitigation, and occupational health practices. This position offers an opportunity to lead safety initiatives that foster a secure working environment while supporting project success.
Responsibilities
- Implement and continuously promote site-specific safety plans aligned with project requirements and regulatory standards such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC (National Electrical Code), and other relevant standards.
- Lead morning safety meetings and safety training sessions for construction personnel, emphasizing risk management, hazard recognition, and safe work practices.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses thoroughly; document findings and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Oversee occupational health initiatives to promote wellness and reduce health-related risks on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and compliance documentation using construction management software.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) teams to ensure ongoing adherence to safety policies.
- Monitor evolving regulations related to construction safety and ensure the site remains fully compliant at all times.
- Lead efforts in risk management by identifying potential hazards early and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of OSHA standards, NEC codes, and compliance management.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, occupational health practices, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Familiarity with construction management software tools used for safety tracking and documentation.
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes, site operations, and safety protocols specific to the industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence safety culture across diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering training sessions, conducting investigations, and liaising with regulatory agencies.
