Current RN Openings
Broad River Correctional Institution
- 1 RN – Night Shift (6:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Kirkland GPH (Med-Surg Experience REQUIRED)
- 2 RNs – Night Shift (6:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Positions rotate between GPH and the Infirmary.
Kirkland Infirmary (Med-Surg Experience REQUIRED)
- 5 RNs – Night Shift (6:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule Requirements (Please Read Carefully)
This is a full-time position totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Applicants MUST be able to:
- Work three 12-hour shifts each week
- Work every other weekend
- Follow the assigned rotating schedule
- Block scheduling is NOT permitted
Candidates who cannot meet this schedule should not apply.

- Week 2: Facility Orientation
RN Requirements
- Active South Carolina RN License
- Minimum 6 months of nursing experience
- Med-Surg experience required for Kirkland GPH & Infirmary
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Current TB Test
- Two Government-Issued IDs
- Drug Screen & Background Check
- Must not have personal relationships with inmates or be listed on an inmate visitation list
