Senior Director, Treasury

Position Summary

The Senior Director, Treasury is responsible for leading the Company's treasury function, including liquidity management, cash forecasting, banking relationships, debt administration, treasury operations, financial risk management, and working capital optimization. This role partners closely with the Treasurer, CFO, Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and business leaders to ensure the Company's financial resources are effectively managed to support operational and strategic objectives.

The Senior Director, Treasury provides strategic leadership and oversight of treasury activities, drives process improvements and automation initiatives, strengthens financial controls, and develops strategies to optimize liquidity while managing risk. This position serves as a key advisor to senior leadership on treasury-related matters and contributes to the Company's overall financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury Strategy & Leadership

• Lead the execution of the Company's treasury strategy to support business growth, operational efficiency, and financial objectives.
• Provide strategic recommendations regarding liquidity, working capital, financing, and treasury risk management.
• Partner with senior finance leaders to align treasury activities with broader corporate objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve treasury performance, processes, and governance.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on treasury-related matters to executive leadership.
  
  

Liquidity Management & Cash Forecasting

• Direct enterprise-wide cash management and liquidity planning activities.
• Oversee short- and long-term cash flow forecasting processes.
• Monitor cash balances and funding requirements across the organization.
• Optimize cash usage and working capital to maximize liquidity and financial flexibility.
• Evaluate and implement strategies to improve cash forecasting accuracy and visibility.
  
  

Banking & Treasury Operations

• Lead relationships with domestic and international banking partners.
• Negotiate banking services, fee structures, and treasury-related agreements.
• Oversee bank account administration, payment processes, and cash management activities.
• Drive operational excellence through treasury process improvements and automation.
• Ensure effective management of treasury systems and banking platforms.
  
  

Debt Management & Corporate Finance Support

• Oversee debt administration activities, including credit facilities, loans, and other financing arrangements.
• Monitor compliance with debt covenants and reporting obligations.
• Support financing transactions, refinancing efforts, and capital planning activities.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations related to funding and liquidity strategies.
• Partner with external lenders, financial institutions, and advisors as needed.
  
  

Risk Management

• Develop and maintain treasury risk management practices related to liquidity, interest rate, foreign exchange, and counterparty risk.
• Evaluate financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Monitor market conditions and economic trends affecting treasury activities.
• Ensure treasury activities are aligned with corporate risk management policies.
  
  

Governance, Compliance & Controls

• Establish and maintain strong internal controls over treasury activities.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, corporate policies, and applicable regulations.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and governance standards.
• Promote a strong control environment and risk-aware culture.
  
  

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Partner closely with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, Procurement, and business leaders.
• Support strategic initiatives including acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and business transformation efforts.
• Provide treasury expertise on enterprise-wide projects and financial initiatives.
• Prepare and present treasury reporting and analyses to senior leadership.
  
  

People Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop treasury team members.
• Establish clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement.
• Build organizational capability and succession strength within the treasury function.
  
  

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred.
  
  

Experience

• 10-15 years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or related financial disciplines.
• Extensive experience in cash management, liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and banking relationship management.
• Experience managing debt facilities and treasury-related financial risks.
• Experience operating in a publicly traded company or large, complex organization preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience supporting executive leadership and strategic financial decision-making.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $190,000 - $260,000.
